Lion I honestly believe we are only looking at a small part of the problem.

First they tried to scare us by saying its getting hotter and we wont survive, when that was proved wrong they changed their tune to Climate change but continue to blame man made CO2.

Any one that knows a tree takes in CO2 and returns oxygen into the air must realise that removing vast amounts of rain forest is going to have a huge effect on CO2 levels.

and john I didnt need a professional scientific body to tell me how a tree works, it was a long time ago that I went to school and was taught how trees work, some seem to have forgotten but I haven't.

You see there's the difference. Some go searching for quack scientific & tabloid reports that support their closed opinions, while others examine the facts and make a rational judgement.

on another point, warming was not proven wrong. It was proven right. That's the opposite to wrong.

Personally, I am very, very glad we don't have too many people in Australia who cut down trees and burn them, seemingly with the attitude of defying governmental rules about such things (whilst hollering about saving other people's trees lol). Laws are made for a reason and generally reflect societal expectations of behaviour... and thankfully these days the vast majority of people are more interested in planting and preserving trees, than plowing them down and chopping up snakes with shovels ;\
