Karen you may not mind paying a tax under a false pretense while allowing uncontrolled pollution to go unchecked.

What false pretence, Hawk?. Any thinking person would know we simply can't keep polluting our atmosphere and this 'tax' is an excellent motivator to get companies & individuals to clean up their act. 

It'd make much more sense to get rid of the GST, it has a massive impact on our daily lives & economy.

if rabbit repeals the carbon pricing scheme, how long do you think it'll take for him to replace it with something similar,,, after all, most other countries are doing it. we'll be the arrogant backward johns of the world, how embarrassing.

are you suggesting you want to do nothing about carbon & other forms of pollution? If not, then what do you suggest?
