Yes hawk I think the price on carbon is an excellent motivator for businesses & individuals to pollute less and adopt cleaner solutions. That's why the world is doing it.. And it's working.

So you believe this will fix all the problems and destroying the forests dont matter

The carbon tax  mainly affected companies and mining.  As it should.  

To try to make climate change into a conspiracy and con is nuts.   The irony is, the people who carry on about climate change being a con (hint: conspiracy) would be the first ones to belittle anyone who believed in other conspiracies.  

They see themselves as logical right wingers, but choose not to believe in science or history? 

I can't take the opinion of someone who only reads information from tabloids stories and repeats it.  It is really irritating because  I have researched this subject thoroughly, and there is no doubt climate change is happening.

It was mistakenly tagged as 'global warming' by the media, but even back then scientists were unsure of the exact effects and many have said the only thing they can say is that it is changing at an unprecedented rate, thus making it Unpredictable. 

Ocean currents can be affected from glaciers melting - last time this happened it led to the near destruction of everything on earth.  Why? Because the currents keep the ocean healthy. When they stopped running properly the marine life died. This caused noxious gases to fill the atmosphere killing many of the things on land as well.

But you would know all about that?

Of course I don't advocate destroying forests, hawk. The price is just one part of the solution.

No secret there Hawk............yes I didn;t post anything about my Christmas Light Display on the boards here this year because of the trouble caused for my husband and I the year before......I was unable to rule out that trouble coming from the boards here from a select few.
