Hi beani I just finished '61 Hours' by Lee Child and have read all his books - he is a favorite. I will check out the other authors you recommended - thank you. BTW I saw your thread and am so happy for you!

Hugs and no change unfortunately.........Helen did say where the damage is done to the brain that the docs think strongly that his speech will be affected also but still early days........its a terrible time for the family and with the farm all the locals are pitching into help with their retired farm manager in charge of co ordinating all the help........its certainly tipped everyone on their ears:(

Morning all. Could not get on the net last night. Think it is congestion. The bigger the city the worse it is. X-(

Got to Mount Gambier with no worries. In a park smack bang in the centre of town. That is a plus as I can go for a walk/ coffee when I want to.

JV thinking of your cousin. Gee your OH is having a tough time with his BP. Hope things improve for him soon.

Bella I hope your dd can get some relief from the anxiety. You really are one great mum. Wish there was more like you around.

Hi purple yes hoping too the lady was ok - she still hadn't come around by the time the ambo arrived - OH said it frightened him she was lying so still with her eyes open. Have a wonderful time in Mt. Gambier - sounds like you are in the midst of a great set-up!

Evening all.

Wow what a day. Gorgeous scenery. Climbed a volcanic mountain and walked around the rim of the crater at the top. Had lunch in a park by the sea. Just fantastic day all round.

Have you read GALLIPOLI OUR LAST MAN STANDING? Its the story of Alec Campbell who came home to Aus, went into politics to help veterans, raced in the Syd-Hobart yacht races and lived to raise a second family. Its by Jonathon King. I don't as a rule read this kind of things but I couldn't put it down.

If something is in front of me, I will read it but I have to work at some subjects.

Hello everyone!!!! I am home alone, getting loads of work done today but was going out for dinner. The later it gets, the colder it looks and I am thinking soup for dinner instead! 🙂
