Don't you dare change the way you sign off Dame. How awful that someone should be so nasty. JV - I was on avapro and had terrible trouble holding my head up - pain and weakness - one of the side effects to watch out for. It's a fantastic drug according to my doctor - just a shame I could not tolerate it. Hope your OH finds it good.

Hi and the new meds Avapro + dieuretic plus the other stuff that the doc has him on have lowered it but still not right.........thankfully hes fairly with it taking the right meds at the right time............maybe your OH has a fluid problem as well.........i know i weighed him before the new meds and after taking them hed lost 2kgs no change in diet.........am just trying my hardest to keep him well:) That's interesting JV, OH found it much easier to loose weight on blood pressure tabs. No idea why. He can't take a diuretic because it sets off the dizziness associated with menieres. That could mean a week in bed for him 😞 Glad things are settling down for Mr JV though and hope he has continued good health. 🙂

Evening all. Bit chilly here.

Well we had a bit of a look around today. Both feeling a bit tired from travelling yesterday and we both had a nap this arvo.

JV I take Avapro and it was the one which was found to be best for me. I wish now I could just go off all meds. So over popping pills. Glad it has lowered OH's blood pressure. Maybe they need to give it more time to kick in. I was given a week between checks. Just a thought.

My thyroid is out of whack as well and I am up to 200 mg of Oroxine a day for that plus stuff to slow my heart and stuff to thin my blood. Plus ulcer meds.Plus anxiety meds. So I am just over it all some days. Sorry for the vent.

Bella, snow how lovely. I wish I could see it. R hates it but I love it. Maybe next year. lol

Rosie I know some meds do cause problems and that sounds really awful. I know one lot I had made me cough continuously. Glad they got you sorted out.

PURPS I meant to tell you a while ago that Nexium you take, I am on that too, as I have the same problems you do with the (canna spell ospherous lol)
I had surgery to open some channel up or something to widen it but it did not help, sometimes I get pains so bad I think I am having a hear attack and it seems to go into the back as well, tis not good aye:(
I think as one gets older it seems like popping pills is the way to go(not really)
I had to laugh when I had the surgery, Lily took me to the hospital and it was private and I was booked in for 9am and at 1.30, I walked out in my hospital gown and poor Lily following me trying to get me back to wait my turn lol
I was very polite and informed all and sundry that no thankyou I did not want surgery that day as I was very hungry and just wanted to go home lol
They ended up putting me on a bed and giveing me something to calm me down till the surgeon could get to me
Poor Lily lol was a tad embarrased me thinks:(

Hi girl vent all you like...........and yes meds can be a right pain but just sometimes we have just take them and forget about them:)............cold as here this evening:)

Dame I can relate to the leaving in the surgical gown. Have done that twice. lol Only thing was they did not get to operate on me those two times.

Yes it is awful. So painful at times. i am at present avoiding as much wheat as I can. Seems to be helping me a bit. Nexium is my miracle drug as it allows me to eat most things.

Yeah for sure JV we do need to take them and just get on with it.

O what a lovely morning here, sun out and I have done heaps of washing and my floors and dusting, I am on a roll lol
I even did a job I detest, the birds for some reason love my outside patio at the back of the house and my table and chairs, they think it is good to leave all their droppings there and every so often I have to have the biggest scrub up to get rid of their presence(yuk)
