Lyndal it wasn't the postal system that was slow, it was the seller who had my money for a month before she decided to go to the post office. The actual time in transit was just under 3 weeks which is normal.

Sorry superscanner, my reply was not directed at your problem...it was a general reply to the posters who were running down the Canadian postal system.

Yes, it is expensive and yes it can be slow...but compared to 30 years ago it is great.  It is much more on a par with other International postal services now than it used to be.
