:^O

Washing Machine? 4kg? 8kg? Pffft!!!

We don't have any of those problems - I just bought her-in-doors a new scrubbing board for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. She broke the last one - it was nearly new too - it was 1986 I bought that for her and she broke it already!! Women, I don't know!!

Looks like we'll have to replace the ringer soon too - my mother gave us that when we first got married - 1970 - because Dad bought mum one of those new fangled electric ones.

And the copper? Well that was gran's handed down to mum and then to us when we got married. I've had to weld the bottom in a couple of times but other than that it's been perfect. Her-indoors is getting a bit slack now - she refuses to get up at 4:00am to chop the wood to heat the water in the copper.
