I guess the word 'listings' covers it?

But then on the other hand does it? As it starts with the word Advertising so advertising listings is an issue but I'm not advertising lol!

It was a different rule I was looking for.One that said you can't put a link in the OP.

I wasn't aware of that one either. I received warnings for the actual posts in the thread and that was the reason given that I was advertising listings, merchandise and or soliciting.

I've been slapped for it before, and unsuccessfully appealed. Same deal, not my listing.
Ebay likes you more than they do me Amethyst 😉
Yes, I have an opinion. No you don't have to agree with it. Yes I do have a right to it.

I am sure there is no rule to putting a link to an eBay listing in a post. As long as it is not a link to your own listings for sale...which would be advertising, soliciting sales.

Well I got slapped twice, someone was obviously having fun trying to target my posts yesterday lol
I also thought this was the case that it refers to your own items not items you are enquiring about.

I still can't locate that rule I mentioned and did not save the "email" but I know I saw it and had it explained by a mod as to not being allowed to put an item number in the OP Title or post.
