I just saw an instance of something that was mentioned on the local news recently.  Apparently after severely hot weather, gum trees can just drop branches for no apparent reason.

I heard some creaking going on outside my open French doors and turned around just as a tree dropped a big one on the block next door.

I think I need new glasses.

I didn't end up going shopping with my gift vouchers. I took the bus up to Crows Nest and did a tour of the Salvos and Vinnies. Found nothing. Oh and I went to the pub for a counter lunch after that and sat in the aircon for the next 4 hours. I had $50 in my purse and we played the pokies with that til we ran out.

By the time we left we were shivering from the aircon and a cool change had come over outside.

I too have washing to attend to.

ive been watching Doc Martin... he just got dumped by Louisa... And he nearly showed some emotion. I love that show.

No, I only started watching it when she was nearly having the baby. Two more seasons for me 🙂
