OH took himself off out for dinner so I didn't see or smell him preparing something.

He came back and began to tell me what he had.

I gave him the 'look' and he wisely desisted 😄

I put whatever is in the garden and fridge, Flashie... tonight was silver beet, capsicums, a Thai eggplant, spuds & carrots... Oh.. And a zucchini I got from someone's verge giveaways lol. I thought of you, Flashie, as I picked 3 shiny zucchini lol

Prim, sorry to hear you're not quite wealthy yet... Wealthy = healthy lol, silly ipad!

and yes, I feel special that people blame me for just about everything. It says a lot about their strength of character that they feel that way, in particular those who I've had blocked on the entire Internet for a year 🙂 It's all very chookish IMO.. And I noticed they are working hard to expand their flock. How sweet ;\

No, just the plain old Italian style.  It's my son's 21st tomorrow and we are having people over for tea but I thought I would prepare ahead and do the sauce.  I always make such a mess when I make chilli mussels.

The recipe I'm using you can make the sauce ahead and then you steam the mussels in a bit of white wine and when they are cooked you chuck the sauce back in the pot. The mussels will be cooked tomorrow night.

Thank you.  My survival has  been a great achievement.  Haha not really, he's been a great son and I'm very proud of him.  Both of them.
