80 stitches? In the face? That's just awful and I'm very sorry. Hope he can get some plastic surgery after it all heals up.

you have my full sympathy... 

My son heads of OS on the 17th... if anything happened to him while he was away I would feel incredibly helpless and sad.... 

I hope he manages to get on his feet quickly and if he wants to come home for a visit I hope he can make it.
