Young women are disgusting these days and then they cry why they dont have boyfriends. Maybe they're not real bright.

One of the problems as I see it is that young women are simply not growing up - at 30 they are still giggly 19 year olds.
I watched an episode of Socks In the City once - the only one I ever watched. It started with one of the 'girls' in bed with her latest boyfriend. As things are starting to warm up she lets drop a tiny little squeak of a fart. Immediately she jumps out of bed covered in embarrassment and confusion, gets rid of her socks partner as quickly as she decntly can and spends the rest of the episode agonising with her girl friends over how humiliated she is and how can she ever face the man again.
I thought, get real girlie - you are supposed to be a mature high-achieving 30 something. When I was your age I had a husband a mortgage and 5 kids. Farting in bed was the least of my problems.

That's the point isn't it She-el?
At 30 you had taken up your life, well and truly.
At my work, a colleague had taken up her life at age 11, running the household for her sick mother.
Responsibility was taken and exercised.
Gen Y laughs it off. Goes to the next party. Has another drink.
It's the way they've been influenced.

I agree a bit with Elephant, women who are 22 years old act like 16 year old children.

yes but they're only living up to their expectations, aren't they, Crystal?
Young women are expected to look gorgeous and to party, party, party. Life is for living. Right? Enjoy it while you're young. Right? Except when it's not fun anymore.
Young women in previous generations were expected to step up to the plate, get a husband, have kids, run a household, be a contributing member of the community.
What expectations would you have for your daughters? And for that matter, your sons?

Icy, my girl is so busy she really doesn't have time for the nonsense of being single or even her boyfriend she has now.

I'm glad you asked. The majority of these women will contract chlamydia, the rate of which has soared over the last 10 years. Chlamydia often results in infertility.
