Hi JVH hope today has brought better health to you!
Bit of a dilemma lol guest has left his bedroom door and bathroom door open and bed is awry and towels in a heap on the bathroom floor. Not sure etiquette wise if I'm expected to make up the rooms lol or respect the privacy I try to afford my guests by not going into their rooms. There are plenty of fresh towels already in the bathroom for him?

Kezza I'm with jvh regards the piercings. Can only wear earrings for very short periods of time before ears get sore and they have been pierced since I was 14! Also can only wear hypoallergenic or gold. Look after yours so easily infected. Btw how come your picture shows on the thread and ours doesn't lol!

Feeling remarkably well after little sleep last night and up early to cook brekkie.

Miss i dont know what i would do about the towels on the floor.......maybe he has someone back where he lives who does pick up after him........would be very foreign to me.

And i never enter the bedroom of any guests unless they have done washing put it on the line....ill get it off and just place it on the bed.

Even when my son stays here am very mindful of their privacy but always offer to put on a load of washing for them if needs be

Thanks Jvh I haven't gone in and decided not tomake up the rooms. Will simply enquire if anything is needed. Wish he would close the doors lol I have to walk past guest bedroom and the bathroom every time I go downstairs. Just like being a perfect hostess.

Lol Miss yes sometimes people simply dont think.....i know when aunt and uncle come over from ChCh aunt likes a cup of tea about 1 am......so i always leave it all set up for her on a tray.......apart from that they are perfect guests.

I think sometimes too its not that easy having someone else staying in the house:)

Miss I cant wear anything other than hypoallergenic either  my skin breaks out in a rash, when I was 14 I had both ears pierced as many times as I could I was even a rebel back than, lol.

 

Miss dunno about yr guest ask him if he can leave his washing out maybe I'd be embarrassed if it was my son leaving such a mess in somone else's house.

Hot and humid here today had a lot of thunder and llightning last night but not much rain couldnt watch the Austar so went to bed, early.

Kezza hope you get some respite from that insufferable heat today......geez ive bombed out in front of the air con for most of the morning the OH went to golf.....then he came home tidied the house and tells me he wants to go Chrissy shopping in the am..........that is one shopping trip ill pass on lol

Got my house back lol Guest now in Qld. I do enjoy houseguests this one a college mate of OH i had never met before. Said he is definitely coming back with his wife next year and that I am the most gracious lady he has ever met. So I obviously got it right lol!

Lol way to go............and this new format isnt very user friendly and thats being very ladylike lol

Will be lovely to meet your guests wife..........sounds like he really appreciated all that you did for him:)
