Hi Darki, I posted a few times on yr thread on CW I lost my dear Mum to breast cancer she was 40 and I was 5.  She had 1 breast off than found a lump in the other one and didnt tell anyone as she didnt want to have male doctors probing at her she was a very modest my mum was...

Afternoon all and Kezza had to be horrendous losing your Mum at such a young age.......certainly life altering for you 😞

Hope everyone is having a pleasant new years day....been working hard this am and just crawled out of a large nana nap was needed.

JVH a nana nap sounds good! Really hot here and OH not feeling well so we postponed dinner until next week (it's his b/day week). my sister phoned from S.A it is over 40 degrees and we get their weather!

Kezza 40 is a young lass! So sorry about your mum! sounds like you are struggling with it badly (as anyone would). Wondering if there is a grief support group your way? My dad was 48 and I still get teary after almost 30 years. There is no time limit regards grief and I'm sure you would be welcomed into any local group!

I don't know what a button pusher is either lol. I'm presuming someone who reports posts?

hot hot hot! Made a pasta for dinner had to put the ac on! Still managed a workout on the wii since one of my Xmas guests fixed it for me. Want to lose another kilo before a party mid month (the same one put on over Xmas)

Well to date we have escaped the heat.........and its very cool here this am......wonderful loathe dealing with the humidity.

Kezza losing a parent is terrible especially when one is close to them......idolised my dadda and hes been dead 15 years there isnt a day goes by that i dont think of him and wish he was still about:)...........losing anyone that one is close to is really horrible:(

Hi JVH glad your weather more friendly. 40degrees expected today and brushfire alerted. We have a natural park at the end of our street with koalas etc and it has sadly been on fire a couple of times. We were evacuated one year (fortunately we were away and only heard afterwards that all was ok)
OH feeling better today thankyou think it's the heat.

Kezza have you got those walking shoes yet? Too hot here to walk the pooch

Yes very sad re my mum looked into some grief groups but they werent for me nothing much happening in this way in the ville...

 

Seen on the news how hot it is down south at least you guys only have a week or so of it we get 3 months of heat and humidity and the heat in Melbourne is dry yes no humidity.

Still the most its gotten to in Townsville is 35 so far.  Liked yr new profile pic do you have 2 dogs now? or is the other one someone else's, lol...

 

Waves to Jen yes I think about my Mum most days wonder what she'd thin about all my piercings, lol given she was born in 1934 which would make her 77.

Hi Miss and glad the OH is feeling a little better Did you know that water melon is really great if you are being caned by the heat.......replenishes a lot that is lost through the body with high temps and humidity.

You have to wonder about some of the fires and if they are deliberately lit:(

Yes Kezza its the little things that one misses chatting to them about and of course C misses out on a nana not that all nanas are nana material:(
