A local Op Shop here offer a buy back scheme.. You donate books, CDs or DVDs and the manager assesses their value and gives you store credit to that amount, It can be spent on more books or anything else. 

What a terrific idea.  Though if you're a hoarder that means

you'd never get rid of much as you'd be replacing it with more stuff.  I would anyway.
