Hugs Kezza horrible dammed week for you wish you were closer

Id be speaking to the social worker at the hospital.....removal of breast you usually score 4-5 days in hossie and are released with some drains....not a problem cooking etc  Have you got someone to care for C whilst u r in hossie  Sorry that you have been called back in your mind must be racing at thousands of miles per hour

Waves to Miss:)

Hi JVH and Kezza

Kezza I missed this post - but have just seen your updated post on FB - thinking of you and sending hugs!
Great suggestion re social worker - I'm guessing you will also qualify for home help (My aunt got it - following her mastectomy) - cleaning/cooking etc. Well worth enquiring!
Kezza its awful you're going through this but I'm so relieved they caught it early! I'm also glad you had someone with you at the appt. Hope it gets seen to quickly so you are able to move on and get it behind you!

JVH hope all is well your way!

Evening all:)

Thinking of you Kezza let us know how you go at least u r going to know very very soon what the go is not second guessing it

Miss not warm here for sure.........with more rain on the way

When does the little angel start all her tests etc?

Hi Jen and Miss,

I have invasive duct Carcinoma grade 1/2.

Have asked for double mast with my gp to put in her referral.

Havent heard positive things about the public Dr for breast

surgery but I will make up my own mind and if I dont like him

I will tell them.

I want them both off as mum's came back and travelled to her brain.  My freind also has the same thing and it travelled this dr botched her op and she had to some back.  I'm just worried like her it will (the cancer) pop up somewhere else over time.

Hardest thing was telling C and asking this organisation he's with if they could take C to his psychologist appt as my car is stuffed he needs this now also asked as if I have op I wont be able to drive and they said they would take him today as a one off totally disgusted with them when we need help most they kick us in the guts.

Going to lunch with Pct soon...

Jen my friend is looking after C the cat and dog, she lives about 10 mintues drive from the hosp.

Its better to get them off when I am young and fit.  They have suggested radiation therapy after op and maybe a underarm biopsy b4 op.

Wanted to get acrylic nails put on to chear me up but I rang them up and they said not to so I'm treating myself to a pedi on wednesday 🙂

Hi Miss and Kezza

Kezza fingers and toes crossed that you can talk the doctor into removing both.........that way down the track you would have no worries.

Would and must have been dreadful telling C........i know how hard my son took it at 22 was poleaxed thought he was going to pass out.

Poor little C must be very worried for his mummy:(

Enjoy your lunch girl and say hullo to PCT for us please and lets know how you went at the docs

Miss the weather is lousy here raining and very cool for here:(

Afternoon JVH and Kezza

JVH sounds like you have copped our weather! Actually not too bad here ATM but more rain forecast before anything dries up!

Hi Kezza was thinking your recent health kick is going to majorly help health wise! Weight loss and fitness will go a long way towards a faster recovery! Thinking of you!
Good idea for C to talk to a therapist - always difficult to really know what goes through their young minds!
Right now the major focus is you and putting this behind you!
I'm sure your surgeon will be a good one or he wouldn't be practicing but after meeting with him and not having confidence - I would also look elsewhere! Fast!
enjoy the pedicure! No nail polish allowed on fingers as anesthesiologist needs to see the color of fingernails during surgery! I will be so glad for you when this is over!

Enjoy catching up with pct!

Evening all:)

Waves to Miss and Kezza..........raining like the devil here:( with more of the same tomorrow:(

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Pct and her dil.

Hope I can live long enough to have great dil like Pct's, she really looks after Pct great to see 🙂

Might be able to get in with the private Doc if she agrees have looked up wikipedia about IDC (Invasive duct carcanoma) and it looks gross the actual cancer except the pathology report said my samples were white and hard it must differ for everybody I guess.

Its apparently the most common form of cancer in women in the us.  However it comes back as my friend had so hence why I would like them both off.

Hopefully going to go for a short walk tomorrow if we have good weather its been really hot up here even with the rain it was 19 degrees last night and muggy.

C went to his psychologist appt today he needs to talk to them as the youth worker didnt say anything to him, pretty hopeless they are.  I mean to me having bc is a big deal..

Afternoon JVH and Kezza!

JVH hope all drier now your way - saw it on the news!

Kezza BC is a huge deal! Thank goodness yours is caught early! Hope it goes well with the private doc -
I wouldn't be googling too much - pay more attention to the experts you see! Every situation is different and they have the facts!
A friend had the reconstruction and looks great! She works in the hospital and goes to see BC patients and shows them hers!
I think you are doing great - getting facts - making sure C is ok - keeping fit -
glad you enjoyed seeing pct!
Wish so much this was already behind you - but it will be!!!!

Got the kids this weekend - hope my cold is gone!
