Hi JVH frustrating re the window holding up everything else. Isn't it always the way? Hope it goes well!

OH said the expert today at least acknowledged our vulnerability to inclement weather being high on a hill in such close proximity to the bay. OH showed him our damaged established palm trees (not claimed lol) and the expert was gobsmacked. Could still go either way but we just want it fixed or be allowed to fix it! I'm so over it now!
Anyway I had a nice day lunching and shopping.

Kezza I'm betting time has stood still your way with the awful waiting! Friday will be here soonest to put another dr visit behind you - and a step closer to getting better. Sending every good vibe your way!

JVH glad the window got sorted out! Bet it looks great!
Our damage inside the house is basically cosmetic - new ceiling plaster and a coat of paint is it in 4 rooms affected. Outside loads of tiling and a ballistrade - thank goodness we did the waterproofing already which was the biggest job and no more leaking inside.

Taking the pooch for a bath/clip etc - drop him home and then out to meet a friend for a coffee this avo.

Been one full on day house full of tradies place stinks after the waterproofing absolutly stinks seems to be a very long drawn out process:(

Hi JVH and right back at you! Our waterproofing didn't smell - it came in massive sheets that are used in the building of ships lol - the OH figured if it waterproofs the big ships.......I think I know the stuff you are referring to - some of that went down on top - was it brown? Wondering amusedly how Noah waterproofed the Ark?
Anyway hope you are coming down the home stretch!!

Miss yes this stuff is like a black thick garbage that goes on very thickly has some sort of rubber and of course a lot of chemicals.  Wondering what your waterproofing stuff is called......not that im thinking of doing any more renos this side of never lol  Waiting for the toilet to be dropped off and for the guy that is coming into quote on the pavers to show up but am going to leave that outside job for a while am over dealing with men lol  Of course the OH racks off to golf and leaves me to deal with them says im much more wiley with them lol

Hi JVH neice is great thanks - but I won't rest until dr says the same! I cannot fathom how many of her appts. are postponed so frequently by the hospital - I do understand there sadly are other sick kiddies - but with her condition being so rare and difficult to get to remission - think early intervention at the hint of a set back is paramount.
Our waterproofing is called multi-panel (comes in sheets) - must say held up last night to a major downpour - I was nervous lol .
Glad your renos going along nicely. Tradies who show up are a plus! Sorry you have to deal with it - I hate it - if OH is around I'm outta here.

Kezza am thinking of you. Hope your appt. Is out the way and a plan of attack is in process.
Entirely up to you but I have seen a reconstruction (my friend was so proud she insisted on showing it off) - amazing and unbelievable. My aunt chose no reconstruction and shes fine and very happy too - apparently a personal choice.
My choice is simply for you to get well and have this behind you!!

Miss thats dreadful that the little one is still being mucked around in regards to her appointment.......the family must be on edge......horrible to have to be kept waiting and waiting.
