Having to have the cash up front must be hard at times for those on low incomes

morning everyone 🙂

I guess when you think about it, we've not had much in the way of substantial rain here over the past 6 months.

I thought water would be expensive Iza, because it's so heavy to transport?

Deb, we pay $180 / delivery for about 21000 litres

I was speaking to someone from the Melbourne area a little while ago and they were telling me what they pay as a home owner for their mains water 'before' the usage costs .I can't remember the amount though I remember thinking that we aren't too badly off paying for water delivery.

when I look at it in that context, you're right Iza, our rates here are pretty high before we even get to the water usage charges

that's what I remember thinking. It's been a while since I've paid a mains water bill .Some areas probably have higher charges than others too .

Hope that everyone is enjoying their day 🙂

Good morning early rising Stringers 🙂

Once you live on tank water, you learn never to leave the tap running whilst you clean your teeth don't you Iza?

When our tanks ran dry our local bushfire brigade used to deliver our water for a donation - worked well for us all.

Another day at work for me - roll on tonight.

Have a good day all 🙂

.

Hi Laney :-)

That's good that the bushfire brigade do that.I think our water carter does do some deliveries now and again which are paid for charities .

have a good day

We came close to having to buy water once when we lived in the country, but we got a last minute reprieve. That was some time ago though. That property also had drinkable bore water, it would be worth it's weight in gold now

Good evening Stringsters 🙂

My lazy day turned into a busy one with a few orders rolling in.

As a kid I had holidays where there was tank water and I vividly remember 2 inches of water in the bathtub. Not something that would suit me today :^O
