Good morning everyone. What we need this weekend is a fete because this is just the perfect fete weather.
26 and sunny today and 28 tomorrow.
Flashie, get the vac out, plug it in and then just leave it sitting in the middle of the room. When MIL pops by you were of course just about to get started.

Good morning you early birds π
"Sends some mojo to the Boss (and a little Laney's way :^O :^O)"
Keep plugging along Iza, soon it will be 1 a day and then none.
Keep the mojo away from me Prim - it might make me irascible π
Iza don't be put off by anyone suggesting giving up smoking makes you irritable - at least, unlike them, you might have an excuse if that were in fact the case :^O
Great day eh j*oono and I agree it is perfect for a fete. There could even be a 'woodwind' ensemble there ]:)
Flashie don't worry about the housework - just let your MIL absorb the love and fun so evident in your home ......... who cares about dust when you have that! BTW = you could also use the ````` on occasion lol

I'm home from the fete, it was very hard work setting up stalls and lugging boxes of ugly crocheted doilies lol. I bought home grown rockmelon, capsicum and other veggies. I just ate half the rockie and yummmm it was SO much nicer than supermarket ones. I also bought a few books, an old percolator and an ugly face washer with crocheted edges lol ( cos I kne the person who made it).
It seems the chooks have been pecking away at a friend of ours π Someone needs to feed those old chickens some worms, they've gone off the lay and it's making them cantankerous. Usually I find it quite interesting observing chickens in a coop, but not these ones. I think I'll call steggles and see if they have spare cage space in their battery farm π Seriously. It's where they belong. I think I might get a few chooks for my back garden, I love fresh eggs and I never buy the supermarket ones because of the animal cruelty. Which takes me back to the soon-to-be-steggles-chooks :^O
oh yeah, one other thing I bought at the fete, some home made rosella jam! I love country jams.
Good news that lolcats have been approved, Flashie!

I think it just proves my point.....I said most of my moderation was a case of the poster being targeted.............not the content.........thus.........malicious reporting.
I was correct.
It is freezing here.............hubby is concreting.
I keep taking him out cups of coffee to warm him up.

Yes it's definitely targeting the poster, not the post, and that's made even more unfair by ppl who use all their IDs to report. Such a plod π
I just made coffee with my fete percolator .. OMG... i made it too strong and a great big mug full, now I can barely sit down due to caffeine jitters :^O
I was reading a live world blog earlier, where they said it was important in social media to admit when you "stuff up" roflmao. Did they forget to tell their staff?

I can't believe I just did that. I dropped an opened carton of milk on the floor and it didn't spill a drop. Phew.

Wow that was lucky, Joono! When I drop such things it's nearly always next to a something that can't be moved to clean, like my oven.
I can't eat subway, i can taste the disinfectant on the salad and it makes me sick. Even walking past, the smell is shocking. But my son loves it.
