Geez, Joe that TV was a great find!!...... Something for nothing!!.... Always good!

Pamela, the film went for soooooo long and I was uncomfortable and I was wriggling, waiting for the end that I thought would never come!!!!!.... My girl wanted company because shewanted to see it so OH and I were the lucky candidates!!:)

Good for you Joz, booking for Gov. assistance from DHS for switching to digital.....we get ours through Foxtel........if we leave F/tel we will need to get another antenna.

Vin, my daughter told me how long it went for, she didnt care, she is young, the young ones dont seem to care how long the movies go for.

Tonight they have gone to the city........I am baby sitting the little darlings.

The Quokka was my favorite paper & especially when they introduced a TV guide. S.Times wasnt happy about that ... Well, S.Times arent happy about their existence...period!! lol

I think most only bought the S.Times for the TV guide in the end.

I used to have the Quokka delivered & every thursday i was up at 5 scanning the freebies and motoring books n stuff. One of my best free collections was 50 boxes of speedway magazines..racing programmes etc.{need the trailer!} But cancelled the deliveries about 12 months ago.

Purple, Half the stuff in my house was from what was advertised in the free column of the Quokka!

I would look for scrap timber - council collections..locally for fire wood and would look for anything else useful while im there too.

well yeah after a cyclone the council will do a green waste collection.

quoka had everything hey! I got a near new washer for free, a large freezer, couch which was beautiful. So many rich dudes over there that can't be bothered selling when they upgrade 🙂
