Congrats on a second major achievement today Boss :^O I wonder if some posters will get long arms from hanging on your every word. If CW was full of so many people without a sense of humour, no wonder I never wanted to go there 🙂
Do not go looking for smoked haddock, cod or anything else. It is horrible. It is used in places where fresh fish does not exist. It is full of salt and fat and is bad for you. Do not pass go...do not collect $200.:-D

Lol Prim. My father refused to eat it, so we only got it when he was away working.
Those CSers are a but cute, how they hang onto things we say and respond to imaginary commands. They told me they turn their brains off, isn't that quaint 🙂

I quite often make smoked cod Morney. It's just like making tuna Morney (blerk) but with smoked cod. I think it's an old Pommie thing.
I made it one night when one of the boys had a school friend over for the night. Poor boy couldn't touch it :^O My boys love it.

Next time I go shopping, I'm going to get some and cook it... I might even take a pic for Prim lol
Joono, what was the sauce my mother used? It was white and I think it had parsley.. Just white sauce, maybe?

That does just sound like a white sauce. I use cheese sauce for the mornay. It is actually a bit over powering for me too in a mornay but I love yeller fish.
How do you spell mornay?

I think that's how you spell it... I rely on the wriggly red line

The wriggly red line says that's wrong. I might have to add it to the dictionary in case I ever want to say mornay again.

Spare yourself the effort of taking that particular photo Karen 🙂
