I wouldn't have fancied picking up an agro cat and getting my arms scratched to pieces in the process.

if you had a bed sheet or something handy I suppose you could have put it over the cat, wrapped it in sort of a sack then tossed it out the door:^O

but who has time to think of these things in the heat of the moment when you have to move quickly?

martini was it someone's pet cat or a feral because a gun is always useful BANG

There is a small problem these days with gun control's they need to be locked away and the ammo also needs to be locked away separately.

What I have in locations around the house is steel bars that can be quickly grabbed.

One next to the bed, one near the phone and one outside near the back door, and I will gladly face a court before a home invader any day

What if an intruder gets the steel bar outside near the back door before you do?

I'm a cat lover, I have 3. I don't think martini had any choice but to do what she did, the cat obviously wasn't hurt from the slam dunk as it came back fighting, and she didn't resort to the steel bar :^O

Domestic cats are ok.

The feral ones taste a bit-gamey.

Hard to get any cookable bits from a Flatapus

after an  18 wheeler has run over it..................................Richo.

At least the thread heading was appropriate!  😉
