😮  My dog doesn't stink!!!

I disagree that "kicking him like a football" was the only way you could have got him out of each room.

Once you had picked up your rabbit surely you could have just chased the cat out.

I hate animal cruelty.

Flashie - I tried everything for over 20 minutes. I tried scaring him but he lunged at me. I had the water bottle from the iron nearby and was trying to spray him. That didn't work -he just moved around. I took a towel and tried to catch him, then started flicking him. Nothing. All the while he's trying to get under the couch where my rabbit was.

But once I saw that my rabbit was ready to move, I had no choice but to put my foot under him and boot him right out of the way. And it was not pretty cause he hit the wall the first time. But he still came straight back. Second time round I booted him through the door clear out the lounge room so I managed to close the door before he could get back in.

And he still wouldn't leave the house.

This was not normal behaviour for a cat.

And as cruel as it appears, my pet comes first.

Yes it is cruel.......and unecessary....in my opinion.

I have had to foot the vet bill for one of my cats

It cost me over a $1000 for his operation................because someone "kicked him like a football"

I think when any animal goes feral a good kick is really the only thing they understand.  I can imagine what Martini had to go through.

I disagree Crystal.

I am sure it must have been frightening ........and I am glad the rabbit it fine.

I am saying I wish Martini had not kicked the cat.... I believe that was cruel.

But I am willing to listen to whatever sage advice you can give me to prevent this in the future. 😉

How about a cat trap?  would it be cruel to surrender a cat considering the owners obviously don't care?

meep I've never seen this cat before.

Or are you talking about for your place? If so, it is ridiculous that you should have to go to the trouble.

And quite frankly any cat that isn't in it's own backyard is fair game for a cat trap.
