your 2 sound like my old neighbours cat. It came no further on our yard than His car and ran back to its own yard next door when ever we came outside. It was quite cute for a cat stayed little and kitten like I called it tatt, short for puddy tat. Its gone now, got new neighbours with a skyline and skid marks all up the road:|
The other though... grr wonder if people think we own a heap of cats coz they all seem to hang out here

"And it was not pretty cause he hit the wall the first time."
how's the wall?
My mum and sister had cats (they were allowed to roam freely) until they discovered dogs - and then they weren't real dogs - rats on string Maltese, shih tzu etc.
Having said that - ALL animals should be controlled by their owners and kept in their own yards.
and Martini, the next time a cat chases me into someone's house I hope you will look after me.

Geez martini what were you thinking, kicking a feral cat out of your own home in order to protect you dear pet rabbit.
You really should have made the feral cat comfortable, and if necessary offer it rabbit stew, while you obtained a humane cat trap from your local council.
Anyway should the situation repeat itself you will know how to react so as to please everyone.

We used to come home to find the phone cord bitten sometimes.
One day when we were home the phone rang, the rabbit ran to phone grabbed the cord and yanked it.
The power went off one day and he did the same to the TV power lead. :^O

Flashie - I tried everything for over 20 minutes. I tried scaring him but he lunged at me. I had the water bottle from the iron nearby and was trying to spray him. That didn't work -he just moved around. I took a towel and tried to catch him, then started flicking him. Nothing. All the while he's trying to get under the couch where my rabbit was.
But once I saw that my rabbit was ready to move, I had no choice but to put my foot under him and boot him right out of the way. And it was not pretty cause he hit the wall the first time. But he still came straight back. Second time round I booted him through the door clear out the lounge room so I managed to close the door before he could get back in.
And he still wouldn't leave the house.
This was not normal behaviour for a cat.
And as cruel as it appears, my pet comes first.
It's a cat not a lion !
Baby we were born to run....
