I should also point out that I wasn't taking a flying kick at this cat AFL style.
I was using my foot (in it's fluffy slipper) as a wedge between the cat and the entry to the space under the lounge. The cat meanwhile is hissing and scratching at my leg. I put my foot (fluffy slipper and all) under the cats belly and made him fly across the floor.
I was aiming for the door. Unfortunately I missed and he hit the wall 4 metres away from the lounge stopped him. I doubt if it did anything more than ruffle his fur in the wind on the way over.
He didn't even hesitate but got straight up and LUNGED back into his original position.

He was probably terrified 😞
I don't know what I would have done, but I certainly wouldn't have kicked it across the room... maybe I'd try to protect the rabbit somehow. Don't know. It was how it was written so uncaringly that made me feel sick.

Was that you lol? Sorry the threads gone a bit haywire. My post was only tongue in cheek. Didn't mean to imply you were aone of those dreaded experts. :-x

Could you have shooed the bunny into a bedroom and shut the door to keep it safe from the cat while you got the cat out of the house martini?
Poor bun.

Are you sure it's not hares that are excitable and dramatic
no hares are pompous and full of their own importance, rabbits are excitable *nods*

Kicking a cat is disgusting imo. Nobody likes stray cats coming in, but to kick it and describe it so graphically and uncaringly turns my stomach,
