The actual legislation may be worded differently - prohibited drug, prohibited plant, relevant quantity...

I did hear on the news that Seal had a bit of an outburst about it all on twitter. iMO he shouldn't  have done that because all he's done is draw more attention to it. I had a look but it's all been deleted.

A spokesperson for Echo entertainment said it was the company's policy to exclude anyone caught with prohibited drugs, and that rule applied to Madden.

Madden said in a statement: "Sunday while I was at work, a hotel employee found a small amount of marijuana in my hotel room. The police were called and responded. Sydney is my adopted home and I appreciate the way the NSW police handled the situation. They have informed me there will be no charges. I hope this didn't cause too much drama for everyone."

Best to have left it at that and let it fall off front page news.

if he gets sacked from The Voice over this, then the show will loose a lot of viewers imo

if I was Joel I'd be telling Seal to shut his trap.

He is just going to get people's backs up with his stupid comments

I don't see why they would sack him. He hasn't been charged or committed a crime.

ooooh drugs.  its about time people got over it, most consumers ignore the Law as its not relevant anymore. unless you are indigenous of course, and not a second string celebrity.

*waves bye to Seal* see ya Bro don't let the door hit ya on the FA on the way out.

Madden seems to be the only one to accept he was in the wrong... and apologise.

Like it or not, drug use is not condoned nor legal.
