well if you saw the game Eve, Aus was lucky against japan to even score especially when Japan dominated. A draw was a fair result. 

it wasnt so much that, they were able to create so many more opportunities. Kruse playing down left wing was brilliant.  Its what we needed to do.  We almost had it against Japan. Cant believe we conceded a penalty in stoppage time!!!  That was heartbreaking.

they keep trying to get the ball to close to goal. the closer you get the more congested it becomes.

I am very impressed with the way they are playing now even the Japan game was a great game.

Iraq next tues and should Jordan lose their other game, Australia will go straight through without needing to meet a Sth American team.

Agree mr grizz, Australia has always needed to mix up their scoring shots more. Element of surprise. But gee they are really playing as a team and working the ball around keeping more possession.
