Sorry, should be if Oman loses we go through.
3 points for a win and only 1 game to go.
First 2 teams qualify for the world cup, 3rd plays off with Sth American team.

Iraq next tues and should Jordan lose their other game, Australia will go straight through without needing to meet a Sth American team.
You mean Aus still has to play another team outside their group before qualifying?

That's right mr grizz if Australia win next game against Iraq they go to 13 points and can't be caught up by the other teams.

It's just as well I'm not interested in soccer because I'm in WA and the game hadn't been shown here except on foxtel. Would have been a real bummer.

Ooops! I wasn't aware the game was being shown on another channel since it was on pay tv.
That is the reason why I dont open this forum or watch any TV or listen to the radio until I have watched a tennis match that I record overnight for example. 😄
