Weed growing in vege patch. Plain grass, clovers etc. Chooks love them.
Our hens supply eggs for us. They stopped for a while when it was very cold but started again a week ago. They are nearly 4 years old but still going.

I have 2 gigantic white sussex hens and a little red hen.
I don't know what breed the little red is. She is full grown in the picture. The sussex is huge.
We call two white ones Christmas dinner and Sunday roast. The little red hen is called Little Red.

The names were joke at the beginning but we still call them Christmas and Sunday for short.
And my daughter and I want silky. They look so cute.
Local pet and farm supply shop lady have them but she doesn't sell them. She sells ordinary red hens. Silky lay eggs too. Just a bit small.
