i'm puzzled, why is OS DD transactions so expensive. Its just a click here and a click there on the net, isn't it?

It used to be, you had to go into a bank and get the teller to do the intl trf. Now you can do it at home yourself on the net and it still costs  $$ in fees.

The money is transferred to the head office of the bank in the other country, then they trf it to the customers bank account. Not sure if that tfr is done by a bank staff employee or electronically, Might be done by staff member I think.

am83 it is all done by computer, cost about a $1 each side.

Hawk, hoping your OH makes good progress with her rehab. Anyone in the position of having to regain mobility has my sympathy.

Thank you Katey:-) she is getting there slowly and most likely will never get full movement back but can drive again and do most things now herself.

I know you understand how hard it can be
