you mean like finding it amusing that other posters post 'Good Morning" or mention what they are cooking or eating , or posting Good Morning at any time of day or saying Good Evening Everyone I hope that you have a good day ?

are you Australia ? ...it isn't considered polite to imply that people are dogs not in any language as far as I am aware 

many things are considered impolite yet people still choose to do them

it must just be the human condition, so that makes it ok.
