Hi Everyone,

hope that you have been enjoying your weekend .

hope all goes well with Baloo Joono

Prim, the question relating to one of the 'intelligent' posts ? Smiley Wink

Flashie, I know I am wasting my time because when I stop him from going under the fence he will realise that parts of the fence are so low he could just about step over them.  It's strange that he has never done that.

I still like the idea of a smaller pool fenced part of the garden but that will have to wait.

Thanks Iza.

Joono

Joono, could you perhaps set up a straight wire ,high up,from one large tree to another ,put a swivel thingy on it and attach a lead to it ? So that he can run backwards and forwards. The lead would need to be a certain length I think and no other trees or things that he could get tangled up in..in between the 2 used ?

The pool fence sounds like it might be the best idea. Have you tried a runner chain?
.

I said high up the trees .....? maybe 1.5-2metres ?

Hi Karen, I think the runner chain is what I was trying to say (as a temporary measure)..couldn't think of a name .

I have thought of that idea Iza and Karen but I just can't tie him up.  I'm hoping that the problem will settle down if there is a Hmmm can I say bitch on heat in the area.

lol weird filters here. He might need training school, Joono, if he's not good at being tied up? My naughty dog used to jump fences and go for walks with other people's dogs, so I got a runner chain. It screws into the lawn and they can run up and down, barking to be let off 😄

.

But I know that he would just get tied up in knots and I'd have to be out there with him so I might as well be out there with him on a lead.

Not me on the lead.  Him.
