Haha poor Baloo... He so reminds me of my old doggie. So naughty!

Hopefully the bricks and snip will keep him in the garden.

Good luck with it Joono, I don't have any ideas for you here, I'm more of a cat person.

We've had a nice day, great company and great food, though it was a bit traumatic finding a parking spot in Carlton around lunch-time. We managed to find one ok eventually.

We had smoked cod for tea with veggies tonight...........(except hubby...he hates it......not that you needed to know that...............but hey......why not)...................anyway.......................our eldest son said to me.....Mum, why do you cook it in milk.Cat Surprised

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm......I don't know.............that is how my parents cooked it.

How does anyone else cook it?

No advice for you here Flashie, I've never cooked smoked cod cos I don't like it, lol.

My lot are only having hot dogs tonight.

My mother cooked it in milk, too, Flashie. Perhaps it's to take the saltiness out? I tried to buy some recently but couldn't find it.
.

My mum used to poach it in milk too Flashie.  I think it might have been half milk half water.  I just use water.

We ended up with a change of plan yesterday and I didn't do the cod after all.  I was looking forward to it as well Smiley Very Happy

Joono

Oops! I forgot to cook the ox tails. I'll have to do it tomorrow. Looks like it'll be toast for dinner lol
.

And it still tastes the same done in water Joono?

Karen, it is harder to get now.  They usually have it in the deli section at supemarkets but I haven't seen the frozen packaged fillets for about a year.  Birds Eye used to do one but no one has it anymore.

Joono

Yes, the girl in the supermarket deli didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Maybe it's an old fashioned food for old people 😄
