Open up one legalized brawling venue where you have to be blind drunk and cruisin' for a fight to get in.  Once you're in you have to be sober to get out!

... such a lovely place, there's plenty of room at the hotel ...

I think they call that 'The Watch-house' (or the local psych ward if the police think they are psychotic Smiley Sad)

"He's a reformed alcoholic (at age 23!)" Kudos to him, icy.

Back in the olden days when you were both young, Spot and Lakey, the drinking and partying culture wasn't as evolved as it is now, and alchohol wasn't as readily or as cheaply available.

Also our parents had more authority over us. We didn't even drink at parties back in the day, we were high on just being young and beautiful.

Woman Very Happy

You must have been a good girl Smiley Happy

my parents authority over me existed mainly in their minds Man LOL  'im off to scouts' ' going to football training' '  etc. some things were accepted without question.. in those days  at 15 yrs and 9 months in SA you could have L plates and a motorcycle of any capacity provided you had the money .  at 16 i was regularly at live music venues drinking etc with my schoolmates.. no ID checks. i would not be happy if mine did however.

I didn't start drinking til I was in my 20s and then I embarrassed myself so badly once I stopped for a long time.

I've never smoked any *bleep* Ms Dixo Woman LOL

I don't have a problem with drinking, but it seems like "having fun" for teens these days is going out and getting drunk off your face., then boasting about our drunken antics the next day.

Alcohol is a dis-inhibitor and anyone with a half-way agressive personality will start raging and look for someone, anyone, to vent their spleen on. They're probably appalled at what they've done when they sober up.

The amount of young women getting involved in brawls is astonishing, as well.

I think one of the main issues these days making the violence worse is the combination of alchohol with these new pills all the young ones seem to be taking, ice, meth etc....

working in an ed department of a weekend, is enough to put anyone off drinking, and put the fear of god into any mother of teenage children lol
