Newstart, I think child care places have a duty of care and most parents who pay the bills wouldn't mind if  germs weren't intentionally spread in those places ? It isn't hard to have cup cakes or muffins .

and???

that is to Iza...

I don't get what you are trying to say???

Sorry Cats Back, I don't understand what the confusion is ? I answered your question.

It was in response to it being about Gillard. Did Tony Abbott have a similar policy when he was Health Minister back in 2005 ?

Can we please just for a while keep politics out of this thread ? there are umpteen dozen threads about politics where you can mention JG or TA.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

maybe you should have put this topic in with another political thread?

And Iza I still don't get what you are trying to say???

why was it deemed necessary for you to put that into my post????

OK meep I heard other, seems they are even divided!

Would you believe they are trying to stop children at pre school blowing out candles because they might blow saliva onto the cake ?

I think it would be a lot worse in an aged care facility when someone turns 100, the mind boggles.

Sorry Newstart, I didn't realise that we couldn't say who the THEY are.

Don't have a problem with individual cupcakes, so do we have one cupcake with one candle for the birthday girl/boy and they blow it out and others just eat theirs ?

Seems to take the excitement out of the whole act for the birthday girl/boy when the others aren't closely interacting. can anyone remember the excitement of having everyone huddle around the birthday person and cake and watch the blowing out of the candles.
