I am currently roasting some garlic to make a mash.  The kitchen smells divine at the moment

Hour and a half!??!  Mine have been in the oven since lunch time!  I cut mine a bit smaller than his too.  Hope they are okay

They'll be fine - they look nice and meaty.  Never seen them for sale.  They would probably make a good beef broth for soup.

It's funny, but I am so going off meat.  

Tonight, my son will be eating 3 lamb chops for dinner and I will be making fish cakes.  And, I will be eating them with bread (fishburgers, lol).  And, a bit of salad, and maybe some cheese.  

There again, tomorrow I will be cooking a whole chicken ... don't know how yet.  

Maybe it's red meat that I'm not liking any more, but I had this incredible steak the other day ... 

They were very nice.  Lovely and tender and very tasty.  I served it on a bed of roasted garlic mashed potatoes with baked sweet potato.

Was it worth the loooonng cooking time? Meh

Would I do it again?  Probably not
