This is Bernie............he was a homeless cat that moved in with us.................sadly he only lived for 2 years..........he had kidney cancer.............he was quite a character..........as following pictures will show.

It sure is off the beaten track, Lion. First time I went there was from Auckland, bush covered hills around ever corner more and more of them, thought we would never get there.

Waterfornt properties have gone up a lot over there in the last 12 or so years.

Just watching Food Safari and they are making Ferrero Roche gelato. I really want some now.

Electric blankets needed here too, gets down to about 4deg overnight lately.

Ferrero Roche gelato is delicious.. have had that from an Italain ice-cream shop.

Am3, lots of natural bush which is nice,

From Auckland takes just as long to get to Mount.

There was a Baby seal on the beach last time I was there.

Yes, it was nice there, just isolated as you say. You have a fair trip to Auckland airport then if you want to travel oseas?
