Sorry, but that made me laugh.

The prescription is written by the optom and the glass is shaped accordingly, almost always they are pre-shaped these days and cut to size.

lol I see what you mean..but it kinda made dumb sense in a way  I need to give you a kudo!

My optometrist has told me to wash mine with soap / detergent and water, and dry them with a soft towel at least once a day.

Between times, I use the little soft cloth they give you to give them a quick polish
