Good afternoon Stringers 🙂
Talk about four seasons in one day ....... thought for a while when I was driving south I might have been in Melbourne ...... sun/rain/sun/rain!
I must say though it is lovely seeing all the Geradlton Wax and all the other natives lining the roads coming into flower.
No wonder WA has such a great reputation for being the wildflower state (even though the ones I saw were not growing wild lol)!

I hope it's not as dire as it sounds ATM
when I was a little kid I had a pet tortoise, and I had it for many, many years, until one day he escaped under the back fence into a vacant block of land
Thanks Deb, I don't know how dire it sounded here but the possibilty of my 9 year old dd having liver damage was a worry. It would have helped if they had compared the blood results they had with the 2nd lot blood results done at the emegency department this Tues night. They are an improvement which is a great relief .She has a paediatric referral and needs to have her bloods done again within the next 10 days just to make sure that things keep going in the right direction ![]()

Good afternoon Stringsters 🙂
Iza, try not to worry, so many things can show up but are innocent. Actually the nurse should not have said anything more than "the doctor can't fit you in tomorrow, can you please come this afternoon".
I had a tortoise once too but evidentally I can't run fast enough either because he escaped LOL. They are escapy type critters if given half a chance !
Flashie!!!!! Thank you so very, very much. Please pass on my sincere thanks. It is delightful and a keeper 🙂 🙂
Though, I am sure my postie is wondering who "Prim" is LOL

Nics your grandie is so cute, love that red hair! My kid was a slow walker too, but he turned out really good at sport. I thought he might turn out like a blob because he just didnt seem to want to walk. He'd plonk straight back down whenever i stood him up. lol
Hmm so many of you had pet turtles and I wasn't allowed... Slightly jealous...and now I might be too old. Although, come to think of it, a slow moving tortoise might be a suitable pet for me at this age 😄
I'm going to search all the forums now to find out what Flashie did. I bet she sent a lolcat.

Just having a read around the traps before I settle down to do some work.
Some appear to be very 'musical' ![]()
