yes to all the above...you all make valid points .

and I like the lolcat/s

What a cold & miserable day it is here. So far I haven't managed to do anywhere near as much as I'd planned. oh well, & yes, as you're all saying, good morning, good afternoon, etc, etc. lol

Hi Stringers 🙂 I'm half way home and it's very cold... such is the life of a smoker in winter 😄

Flashie I like that lolcat, but I prefer the one on twitter haha, what a shame

Dibber dobbers never win, it curls around and bites them like a snake. Especially those who boast and gloat about it.

Wait. What's that frantic clicking and dibber dobbering noise?
.

Time for a complaint Karen.  Ongoing harassment should not be allowed on the boards.  I think you should let Lithium know.

Joono

No I'll leave it there so people can see the snake it is.

I'm home, thank goodness. It was hot today but icy after the sun went down.
.

Good evening Stringsters 🙂

I agree Joono. And not just Karen. I consider 5 swooping in to one thread to debate and argue with only one poster in that thread is also bullying and not in line with Community Spirit.

It has been a busy day...it seems to take longer to so things when working from home.

I hope you are home and warm now Karen. It is not too bad here but it is definitely 'explorer' weather still.

Hi Prim 🙂 I don't expect much better from that ilk.

Talking about explorers (which were donned as soon as I walked inside), I did exciting winter shopping today 😄 I was talking to this bloke in the park and he had a spray jacket on. He was bragging about it, because there was a chilly wind but he was warm... so, to be polite (because he was so very, very proud), I asked "where did you get it?"

AT LOWES! He told me 😄

So I went to Lowes and talked about it with the friendly shop keeper. I described it as an ugly plastic wind jacket and she knew exactly what I meant. So now I am the proud owner of a 20.00 ugly plastic wind jacket lol

It's blue. And ugly 🙂
.

How sad.  A poor little five yr old boy was hit by a car this morning on his way to school.  He was with his mum and siblings but ran back across the road after they had crossed because he had forgotten something.

Thank goodness he was not killed but he has broken both legs poor kid.

Earier this week a mother and her two young sons were killed on their way to school.  Not a good week.

Joono

That's sad, Joono. I knew someone who ran over his kid... I couldn't think of anything worse.

.

Joono, we had a mother in Sydney crash into cars AFTER she left the school parking area having picked up her daughter. When breath tested she was SEVEN times over the limit.

I think that deserves jail time.

Karen, does this mean you can wear one less layer??
