Gee..25 calls..that is terrible! That would never make you interested in whatever they were trying to sell you, it would totally turn me off!

no idea who they were, as i never asked so not sure if they were overseas callers or within australia. but it is way OTT to do what they did.

the one here who i hung up on.  and then he rung back straight away more or less was probably the same one.

 

Telemarketers whose objective is to sell the person called something, will have no chance if tthey back chat or harrass the person they have called (by calling them repeatedly).. I don't get  why they can't see that.

 

We have ones that call work and say 'I want to speak to you about your T landline account. I say ' We don't have one' (true).

One guy said you must have one 80% of Aust businesses has one.. um No we don't. Others go on and on and ask who d is your provider then etc.

The other day for the first time when I said we don't have a T account, the guy said 'ok then, thanks goodbye'.

Yes, I was shocked... I often tell them they are wasting their time talking to me, best to move onto the next person.
