morning all 

 

yay! the sun is out this morning, haven't seen that for a few days

I've been sitting out in the sun, it's beautiful today after a chilly start. I grated an apple for the birds and I've been trying to keep them quiet (unsuccessfully) in case my neighbours are sleeping in. They squabble and fight ... the birds.... and the neighbours lol

Prim, some bundles of joy like sharing their bundles of joy, apparently.

Good morning everyone.  Same here Karen.  It's a beautiful day for the time being at least.  I decided to stay snuggled up in bed until it warmed up a bit rather than feeding the birds.

Especially that one that was warbling away at five in the morning.

With 'off topic' dobbing on a 'chat' forum seemingly back on the agenda, maybe we need to divide CS into two parts?

 

We could have a happy, friendly chat forum created where nothing is off-topic (as moderation treated threads in the previous version of CS) and a specific 'important discussion' board where posters know to toe the line and only write stilted, accurate, on-topic type posts as they ruminate on those very precious, not to be deviated from topics of religion, society, politics chicken box packaging, socks, rabbit traps and walking sticks! 🙂 🙂

I don't think I've seen a thread of more than 50 posts stay on topic here lol

Well, Stringers, I've had a very exciting day so far. I bought a small thermos thing off eBay and today I tested it 😄 It keeps a coffee hot for three hours so it passed the test.

So now I'll head off for more excitement and successful outcomes.

Prim, I like your idea. Combined with the old moderation's sudden locking of the anti PayPal forum, it'd be brilliant lol

Hubby and two sons went playing golf today..............apparently the youngest son is awaiting his call from the cricket selectors.

 

Last time they all went golfing together the youngest son slipped and went down the hill.........bending his new club................which he then apparently threw further than he hit the ball.......................well today he said the dent in the ground where he landed last time is still there.

 

The only casualty of the day was a tree.......the ball bounced back twice as hard as it was hit and nearly took out another player at the hole.

 

Clair.............I am reduced to posting lolcats in Caturday threads..................I had an itch......................and I had to lolcat...............
