We are looking for suggestions for a name for a step grandfather.
The bub is due within the next couple of weeks and she will have 2 grandfathers and 2 step grandfathers as well as a number of great grandfathers.
The Mum is wanting to have a different name for each of them.
Anyone got any suggestion please.

We always just used the surname so it would be like Grandad Smith, Grandad Jones, Grandad Williams etc.
The granddads and step granddads might have something else they would like to be known as.

first name is OK. i leave the 'step' out . anyone who knows you well enough knows it anyway, people who don't will guess or assume.. but who cares what they think.

My grandkids call the step grandfather, Granddad then christian name, this works fine.

or all could be different variations..Pop,Poppa,Grandpa,Pa, Poppy,Grand dad etc ?

That's what my kids did with my step father too. It worked out just fine.
I'm pretty sure he was Grandad R(xx) to his own sons children as well.

I'm not sure about Step Grandfathers, but as a 30 year long Step Grandmother....Nana Carol has worked for me.
