My dd is almost back to normal...unfortunately I can't say the same for the rest of us .Sharing is caring they say ..or something like that

Our youngest son nearly got caught out in a scam today..........thank goodness he smelt a rat (not mine)

He got an email from "The Taxation Department".......saying he had a return of $300 owing to him.....and to just give his details.

Our youngest son is only fairly new to Tax time........so he showed his father and I the email............it looked real.

So we rang the Tax Department to find out where we had to report it...............and they gave us the email address and we very greatful for our input.

He said many jsut delete them without reporting them..........once they are reported they can investigate and close it down.

I wonder how many they get with it..................sadly quite a few I recon.

They may have got our son too if they had of known his full name..............they had a taxfile number.........which obviously was not his........but how many people know their number without having to look it up.

Our son felt a little bit silly...................but I said not to.......he may not have guessed what was going on properly......but he did get the feel that something was not right.

A valuable lesson learnt.
