I have a friend whose step grandies call him steppie he has grand kids the same age .
Didn't know what to think at first ..but it does sound very cute when the little ones sing out to him .

what do the grandparents want to be called?

My mum & dad are Nan & Pop to my nephew and the others are grandma & grandpa. My mum used to be called Nanny Mosemary by her godaughter.

My Stepfather...Poppy
Ex's Father...Grand Dad

My Dad (who passed when I was 5yo)...Grandpa or Grandpa in Heaven

Kieran's Dad...Poppy Craig But Kieran's Mum is just called by her First Name...No Nanny, Nanny, Grandma etc.

Kieran's Popon Mum's Side...Little Poppy

Kieran's Dad's Stepdad...Big Poppy (he was 7"2') or Poppy Frank in Heaven.

We had a Pa J (shortened name started with a J)

Then a Pa Col (Short for Colin)

Grandmothers were grandma followed by first name (1 full and 1shortened)

Great grandpa's were GrandPa followed by surname

Great grandmothers were Grandma followed by first name or surname

Always worked
