I'd go more for a design like the hatchetfish and with todays low power leds it should be doable. Their shiny sides make them invisable from the side and the lites under them that make them blend in when viewed from below.

Why are sharks dark on top and white under them? To hide from what predator?

After a number of underwater earthquakes, tsunamis, and massive hurricanes that changed the topography of the ocean floor and global warming many species of fish have been turning up once thought extinct. Only recently has a giant squid been filmed and if weren't for dead ones (1st one was 1954) that washed up they'd still be thought a myth.

It's a theory that the giant shark megalodon is not extinct and has changed it's feeding pattern due to all those natural disasters (and/or man made effects). Every citing coincides with the Humpback whales migration route.

A life guard in Africa watching the water from high above the beach witnessed a whale being attacked. It was photograghed from the beach. It occured shortly after a boat was attacked and sank by 'something'.

The witness says it was at this point the whale was being attacked.....meaning the distance between the fin and whale was all shark.

Thought extinct millions of years a tooth was recently discovered that carbon dates it as early as 10,000 years ago.
