It's a nice sunny one here so far today.  I'm heading out again soon to make the most of it,

Hi again, Stringers 🙂 Ive been out, done work, now sitting on a park bench outside the shop enjoying a coffee and smoke. I've only been glared at twice, so it's ok so far.

I met a girl today... Actually she is 39, so hardly a girl...and she boasted to me that she has never had a job and has no intention of ever working "I like doing what I want". She was complaining about not having enough money for the bus so I made the mistake of suggesting she work lol. Thank goodness she has no kids. Nice woman,otherwise, but sad attitude.

Another unstructured day here today in preparation for the next few days which are going to be busy.

 

I received some great news today from the east - very relieved I am happy to report

 

Please could someone do a 'stop the rain dance' or 'send the rain further east' please?  j*oono and I might develop webbed feet if it is unsuccessful

Hi Laney, is the good news on forum 1324 or 4971?

I've met others who haven't had a job, but nearly all young people and they all wanted jobs. I was a bit shocked to hear she had no intention ever of working, she scoffed at the idea lol

It's sad, but typical, that the chuckle thread is being used to troll, but I guess some ppl may not comprehend the thread idea. And are trolling lol

Edit to add... Hi Joono... And to Laney, I just figured out your good news without even having to check elsewhere. That's great!

I am so over it Laney.  The forecast is still saying that it will hang around at least until next Wednesday and that's as far as the forecast goes.
