Good morning Stringers 🙂

 

Not exactly a day doing nothing for us here - just a little slow getting started after a hectic day yesterday.

 

The Saturday sleep in was nice.  You have to 'treat' yourself once in a while 

 

 

It was so nice waking up without an alarm this morning.  I need to change my morning alarm song.  At the moment it's "Moves like Jagger" but now it makes me want to throw my phone against the wall.

 

I just made baked eggs with ham and spinach.  Yummo!  It's on the taste dotcom website. 

Yummo is right!

 

They look delicious

 

No baby spinach or ham here at the moment but will put it on the shopping () list

 

Did I say I hate shopping?

Better get moving here.

Hi Stringers 🙂 perfect weather here today, I'm so lucky because I am sick of winter. Begone, winter, off with you!

I went to a cafe with some friends and we had lunch in the sun, then I came home and sat in the sun under a tree with the birds aiming their bums at me. I'm pretty sure the do it on purpose...so that made me move to a treeless spot on the lawn... then the cheeky parrot came and sat on the edge of my coffee cup. That's my news for the day 😄

Tonight I'm cooking a roasted cauliflower... and I'm going to attempt Mexican chilli to eat tomorrow. I'm guessing you just chuck in all kinds of chilli spices, cumin, paprika and whatever other spices I can find, then garlic, onions, beans, mince, tomatoes? Ill let you know if I guessed right lol

Flake bites and chips for tea here...............nothing adventurous on a Saturday night.

 

We had a bit of a storm and down pour here today................right about the time Kevin Rudd arrived...............90 minutes later I they were both gone.

 

I wonder if he ever forgets where he is..................I know I probably would.
