i have a couple of those mixer bowls, i'd never part with them though, they belonged to my mum.

I have her old mixer sitting in pride of place in my kitchen.

i did go to another G/Sale  but everything there was way, way over priced.

i just understood it as being they wanted to keep everything they were selling.

as there were lots of people going in looking but no one walking out with anything.

no i don't use it, although it does still work.

i would be so upset if i broke it, so i just use my chep hand beaters or the food processor.

no it is not, people were asking  prices that what they paid for it new. and i think a bit added on top.

i do have 2 old handmixers, sunbeam ones and they are yellow.

the beaters i find are really hard to get hold of.

I had my Mum's Sunbeam mixer too, but I did buy a new one and part with it. Didn't have room for both.

it's a white sunbeam countessa.

she got it when i was in grade prep.
