Do you think silverfaun is reading?

Complaining about political threads being on here? if you are referring to me, you are mistaken.................I merely made a/some statement/s, about what is happening on here.

In general, political threads are not a problem however, it is the extent to which they are taken that causes most issue with them.

and posting?

Could be both...about the pm'ship

Porridge is porridge, even when it is a trugid sludge heavily overseasoned with political chilli powder.

Does that language not fall into the category of imflammatory propaganda. The very thing some posters are accsed of & reported for being hostile comment??

propaganda? I would think it is in the category of a description, nothing more, nothing less.

Only if you believe that not one single comment or C&P ever posted on any of the political threads falls into that category.

If you read my post properly you will realise that nowhere did I suggest all political comment (or even all politcal comment from one side) was porridge.

Sorry to see you go SF. Speaking from experience I know exactly what you went through. The various groups on this forum make a sport of getting under ones skin in the hopes that they can make then either leave voluntarily or report them so often that they get suspended.

Note to the moderators:- may I suggest that you keep a database of the posters who are constantly lodging the reports against other posters and you may find a trend emerging from that information. Perhaps those who are guilty frivolous and or malicious reporting could be cautioned and instructed to cease or they themselves will be suspended.

i also wish to add that disagreement with the views of another poster does not constitute an interpersonal dispute, which is most often cited as a reason for reporting.

Most of the posters are fully aware of forum posting rules and keep within the guidelines, unfortunately there are particular groups who will attempt to to twist out of shape a poster's comments and try to pass it off as offensive. These groups use their numbers  in a way to make it appear that several object to a particular post.

SF, may I ask yo to please reconsider your departure

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Sorry A3, after I posted I wondered if it would be taken as you have done.  However I hasten to say that :

"That sums up the attitude of some Myopic ostriches,"   was meant to be a generic term,  not one aimed directly at yourself.

I will however  quote from any post I wish to,  and would assert that my interpretation of your post  i.e.:

"your political posts are causing them grief"  meaning SF's posts are causing grief to the Myopic ostrichesstands.

I will though,  proof read more before posting.

That is fine. Of course you can quote any post you choose to. As long as the words aren't twisted/changed to mean something the original author didn't intend though.

I will point this out , my post read: you could try posting on general topics, if the political ones are causing you grief".(causing SF grief)

I never used the word them.

I don't believe SF has been sent to Nauru or else they won't be able to wave us goodbye, perhaps they decided to go on a selfimposed holiday. Most just get on the plane without waving goodbye.
